Cloud real estate has managed our rental property for the last two years. In that time we have not dealt with any issues, they always keep us informed, they answer any question right away, and best of all the keep the property rented. We are currently stationed overseas and we are so grateful that our rental is something we don't need to worry about.
Renters beware. They will not fix anything that is broken, will not call or check up on or take "insurance" photographs of anything that is reported to them as broken unless you threaten them with legality. They genuinely don't care what the state of the emergency is, all they care about is getting their rent. Unfortunately my mother moved into one of their houses, pipe broke, MONTHS have gone by with no help from them, even with the threat of legal action yet she is still expected to pay full rent and higher water/gas bill because of THEIR problems. They have sent plumbers to "check it out" a few times, as if it has miraculously fixed itself but so far nothing has been fixed. If you do move into a CLOUD rental, beware & take pictures and document EVERYTHING, get a copy of all reported problems and work orders, they will screw you over.
Cloud real estate is amazing! Deborah was so helpful in the purchase of our new home. She paid attention to everything we said and helped us find the perfect home for our needs. In touring houses she pointed out things I would have never thought about. She made the process so easy and worked hard for what was best for us!
Fast forward a few years with them. Thier owners needed the house back. I was told with time with multiple options. I was okay with that. It could happen to me. I found a private owner lease threw them that was an angel by the name of Mr. Swartz. That house was a GEM. So it was weird I was with cloud but not. My LL handled everything but also some threw Cloud. I miss that house so much if we don't absolutely have to move due to the army. Move out, we never had an issue but a pleasure. We always left the house in the same shape or better.
Cloud took on the matainence and repairs as well as collecting my rent. There matainence crews suck. The company will charge you for enough paint to do an entire 1700 sq. ft. house and only paint one wall. Left over paint vanished. Lawn service is a total rip off. You will be billed as I was every month for cleaning up trash outside and for weed eating as well as mowing. These guys billed every month like clock work and never stepped foot on my property. I also owned commercial property and was billed for monthly cleaning of my offices. Not one time did any cleaning team ever show up. Not once. Billed me every month. I went to there office to discuss the matter only to get the run around. I was refunded about $126.00 for court cost on an eviction. Folks these guys are ripping you off if there handling your rentals. All the items above were deducted from my offices and apt. rentals totaling several thousands of dollars per year for work that was never done and in 80% of the billing the bastards never stepped foot on my property just wrote out invoices. They have no one checking to see if the work is actually being performed or not. There nothing more than common thieves robbing military and civilian property owners blind. The dollar amount retained by there company would have more than covered any income taxes due on everything I own. Common thieves. Fire them immediatly or just keep giving them your money. There already getting there cut off the top of your rent checks. I am just one owner and I was billed for several thousand dollars of work never performed. Like I told there office manager numerous times. They never been stepped foot on the properyy.
If you have a major disfunction after hours you'll get a call back right away. My water heater was burning up. Literally melting and making the house toxic from the melting Styrofoam in the water heater. Ms. Kelly called me back and said a plumber was going to to contact me. (this is Saturday after 7pm). An hour later I am a about to call her and she texts me let me know if they have called you. Let her know I've have to contact. She says I'm going going to call an another company. She texted back a few mins later there are going to call. I texted back they already called and are on the way. Awesome service from Kelly at Cloud realty.
We also went through cloud when we bought our house. They knew everything about buying a home using the va loan, they recommend a good mortgage broker that got us a good apr and the realiter was honest. Our house was move in ready and we have had no major issues these last five years, despite our house being 20 years old and under $70K.
