Just got a horror story from a friend. She had an appointment to be evaluated for mental health services. She had to go to the bathroom and asked the receptionist if she could go to the bathroom.
Even though she was waiting in the waiting room, even though she had an appointment and no drug testing to be done, the receptionist told her that she could not use the bathroom period, and if she left to go use the bathroom somewhere else, they would cancel her appointment.
After waiting forever to see the doctor, my friend could not hold it in any more and urinated herself right in the waiting room. The receptionist who denied her usage to the MHMR bathroom then proceeded to make fun of her for urinating herself.
My wife had an appointment with them.... she was running late waiting on her ride to take her there. She decided to call and inform them she was going to be a lil late and asked them if it was alright to come in still they said yes. My wife is pregnant and has mental issues she takes meds for ....when she got their they turned her around even though she told them she needed help. They said their POLICIES say you got to be their 30 min before the appointment. My wife had a Break down and is now in the hospital because of their POLICIES. Their policies are supposed to be to help people not making them worse by throwing ignorant policies at her so they didnt have to do their Job. Someone needs to do something about this place, my wife has noone else she can go to for her mental problems... and im wondering how many other people who really need help have gone through the same treatment.
Avoid this place. The EMPLOYEES need mental health screenings.
