First off I was asked for my ticket, as if I had "cut" in line. I produced my number. I asked for 2 temp tags, one for a truck and one for a trailer. I gave my a previous receipt for both to make the process easier for her. She told me she didn't want them but she wanted my insurance. I produced my insurance for her.
Today was an opposite experience with personal business. I took my number and waited my turn (25 numbers in front of me).
I used this facility this morning and Miss Darline help me and she was awesome. This is the best experience I've ever had at a department of motor vehicle registration. Thank you Mrs Darline for taking pride in your job.
I worked with Abby here and she was the biggest help! Customer had plates and registration on her car within a week of me placing the original call to Bell County.
I was then asked why I didn't just register the truck; that I must have title issues and this is the last time I could get a temp tag for the truck. I said yes ma'am. I proceeded to fill out my check, as that is how I paid for these temp tags twice in the last 6 months. Oh, we can't take checks for temp tags was her response. I produced my credit card.

Her "I'm better than attitude left me feeling like a criminal that stole a vehicle, too irresponsible to have insurance, passes bad checks, and not worth 2 new plastic bags. Hopefully others will not be treated as poorly as I was.
I am a title clerk at a dealership in Carrollton. I am new to this dealership and walked into craziness from previous clerk. Numerous deals that were late and not completed. I had one deal that was several months behind and customer was driving on expired temp tag.
Customer service is awesome and Abby was very nice. Hope to work with them again someday.
The topper was that she told me I would have to re-use the plastic bags that were issued to me the last time for my 2 temp tags.
