The worst experience ever! My husband took diamonds of mine and custom made a ring for me at this store. He spent quality time with a woman, one on one, making sure it was going to be a secure seated diamond set. The lady told him the best way to go on setting the diamonds, and he went with it. It is a very simple band with 8 diamonds set all around.
First, the lady who helped my husband design my ring, told me to go up half a size for the band because my fingers will swell. I've worn 4.5 my entire life, big or small. I explained that to her and she rebuttled me with how I needed to go up in size. So I did. BIG mistake. I went back and told them it was too big, they took it in after telling me I was wrong about the lady telling me that I needed to go up in size. So I was wrong for this? She finally took it in and said they would fix it. When I came back to pick it up on the due date, on the receipt, it wasn't done. (No big deal) came back a few days later, and they wanted to charge me for fixing it at first...seriously? Took it and got home, looked at it and you could see the weld marks. Ugh! I doesn't have the time to go back because I was in the process of moving.
To add to this, one of the diamonds fell out. My husband brought our own diamonds and paid about $800.
I bought my wife's jewelry for 14 years from here until lastinght I see Shane pagel proclaiming his love for my wife on Facebook, and begging her to come over , never had a problem with Chad or Brian but definitely not getting business from Ellis or Hopkins because of Shane's bullshit
Took my ring to get it sized and was told that a 7 would work, when I got it back it was too big and was told it was because of my ring shape. So she re-measured and said I needed to go much smaller. So they sized it again and now it's too small. Said it was because I was pregnant and I should have left it alone. Also said my setting was too big. I have paid 150+ dollars for poor advice to not be able to wear my rings. I'm beyond dissapointed.
They gave us a very good price on two sets of diamond studs and infinity backings. Haven't taken them off yet!
We just lost our daughter and each had custom rings made for our wedding date. This was suppose to be beyond special. Instead this is the worst experience I've ever had. I'm truly sad about this whole ordeal and how I was treated AND the diamond falling out after my husband was told this was the most secure settings.
Very friendly as soon as you walk in the door. I researched where to go to have my watch battery replaced or repaired before I left my home. The previous positive reviews were spot-on and the costs were exactly what I expected - no overcharge, very reasonable. Stop here first, no need to go anywhere else.
