I took my vehicle here today in hopes of getting an alignment with the groupon I had purchased. However, I was told i wasn't able to get one because of other issues on the front end that needed to be fixed. I was quoted 990 for the fix. Nothing we could afford. Granted ball joints are not an easy task, and do call for a pretty penny for labor alone but this place's prices are still pretty steep. The parts alone would have double what i could easily pay for at auto zone myself. All that i can look over. Something is wrong with the truck so they couldn't do an alignment, understandable. But not giving us any type of heads up that we were going to be charged for "diagnostics" when we dropped the car off or on the telephone call was really unprofessional. We came to get something done that we had already paid for and what happened was it not only couldn't get done but we were charged for them telling us what was wrong with the truck. thanks but no thanks. You need to be forward with any extra fees. Will not be coming here again.

On Tuesday, February 28th, 2017, I took my car to the Meinke located at 1305 W Central Texas Expy in Killeen. I had the great pleasure of dealing with Travis. He was very professional and explained the issue I had and the next steps that needed to be taken in order to resolve the issues with the check engine light and the reason it was on. I appreciate the fact that unlike other mechanic shops, Travis informed me that I had good brake padding and did not need any brakes at the moment. He was very thorough and understanding of my needs and also the urgency. In my opinion, the pricing is fair and within reason. I will definitely refer my friends to see Travis for their auto care. He addressed my issue and I'm very satisfied! Thank you for the outstanding service!
