Pleasant staff, however the hotel could use some updating. My room was missing a desk and the curtains fell off the wall while trying to close them. My room was a bit dated - wheelchair accessible.
I love the cleanliness of the place. The staff is always nice and pleasant. I live the rooms as well for a reasonable price.
Close to HEB grocery store.
There is an outdoor pool. The pool was open while we were there in March. That was great since we have 4 kids that love to swim. It was chilly but they didn't care.

Fantastic hotel. Free good breakfasts every day. Free food and beer and wine during social hours on mom, tues, and we'd. Hotel staff was great and hotel was clean. Pool is small but the exercise has want your looking for. Would stay again.
There is one laundry room on the 3rd floor for the entire hotel. It has 3 very old washers and 4 old dryers. $2.00 a wash and $2.00 a dyer. Ugh! The dryers don't work well so you will need to spend at least $4.00 to dry a load.
Probably my worst residence stay yet, and I love the residence inn. Room was smaller than expected, but clean. Breakfast was sub par and the breakfast staff was very slow and/or understaffed for the amount of people they had to serve. I even got attitude from the breakfast lady when I informed her of what needed refilled - that's your job lady, keep everything restocked, not give attitude... not ok. Front desk staff always helpful.
No ATM on premises.
The rooms cleanliness is why I gave this location 3 stars. The kitchen was not very clean. Dirty dishes were left in the cupboard. The kitchen sponge was not replaced between stays, the dawn dish detergent was watered down.
No shuttle service.
