I never wait long and although the receptionists aren't the friendliest they are helpful in helping you get started here. The nurses are nice though and you see more of them then the receptionists anyway which is why I let the receptionists' blandness slide. I've been seeing Dr.Day and he's always on time, kind, and knowledgeable. He'll happily answer your questions, however many you have, and is patient. I've never felt rushed or like I was a bother during appointments. Being this is my first time obviously I'm paranoid and have called in a few times for what I thought were concerns, he had a nurse relay his messages over the phone to me and each time so far he's been right about solutions to ailments and the fact they're a normal part of the process. Needless to say I am pleased so far with my care.
This is my first pregnancy and I was SO nervous about where I should go. I decided to go here and so far I do not regret my decision. If you're new I would call in as the place is right next to a major hospital and it is not affiliated with them, plus it's located on the 3rd floor tucked away in the back but without prior knowledge of this it's very easy to go into the wrong area attempting to find them. I have Tricare and we did have to pay a $50 copay, although it wasn't on the spot and we got to choose when we wanted to pay or how much to pay on the spot. So keep that in mind. They have some type of online portal you can sign up for to manage your appointments or even contact your doctor, it sounds cool, but I personally haven't felt the need to sign up for it. Might be useful for someone else though.
Great place came here with my wife and they took us in really quick and a very nice and helpful staff!
I came 60 miles to see my podiatrist, he's REALLY AWESOME --- he save my foot from being amputated. :)
Overall I would recommend this place to expecting mothers, I can't speak on behalf of other doctors as I only have seen this one, but I'm sure they're just as great. If they aren't ask for Dr.Day instead lol
When I'm sitting in an empty room for an hour and 1 1/2 hours past my appointment time without seeing a doctor that's ridiculous, happened multiple times. I took time off work and hired a sitter for my kids to go to this appointment. I will not be going back to this ob clinic again. Dr Alderkamp is the only good doctor in that clinic.
I had a short encounter with this office while I lived in tx but it was amazing I loved the staff and my doctor
