All three of my children are patients of Dr. Mitchell and he is such an amazing doctor and human being! He sings to the kids, engages them in conversation, speaks to them and not at them, and actually listens to me when I try to explain whatever issues we are experiencing with the kids. He doesn't have a God complex like so many doctors we've been to; he offers evidence based care and I truly appreciate that. The office is always neat and tidy, the staff is friendly and engaging, and we always recommend this office to our friends. Thanks Dr. Mitchell and staff for always providing patient inclusive care.
Sitting in their office as I write this. My daughter had an appointment at 9:45. We arrived and checked in at 9:20. Meanwhile around 8:40 a woman came in with a 10:00 appointment. We both waited and at 9:50 someone came out and took her back. They looked at me and said someone would be with me shortly. I have been in the waiting room for 40 minutes and someone who had an appointment later than mine came in and was seen within 10 minutes. I am still waiting and it is almost 20 minutes past my appointment time.
*another incident, i asked the front desk agent for an appt date so my newborn could get his shots to go to daycare. she told me I DIDNT NEED ONE. here my son is going on 5 months with no vaccinations. he should really watch who he hires for front desk....
Amazing Dr! We love Dr Mitchell . Listens and takes his time to give my children the proper care they need. I never feel rushed or feel like my questions are not answered. He is a truly heaven sent Dr and it shows that he loves kids and enjoys his profession .
Dr Mitchell is excellent! i love the paintings, and he sings to the children. my daughter ADORED HIM!! However, due to the unprofessionalism of his front desk staff, I had to withdraw my babies. I work overnight, my sons appointment was not even 30 mins after i got off work, need i remind you i stay a minimum of 23 minutes away! Begged for her to reschedule, she said i could be in before 5pm (which is NOT possible im sleep at the time for work). She nastily said she would charge me $25 anyway regardless of my job situation. the $25 wasnt the issue, it was the fact that she was NASTY and CONDENSENDING like i "needed" her, as if no other doctor would see my baby. (b**** please)
We had our first visit today and we feel truly blessed finding Dr. Ricky, he was kind, fun, and truly lives up to the title "the singing doctor"! All 4 of my kids loved him and were able to be silly and relax around him. The office staff and nurses were also friendly and super great with the kids. Thank you Dr Ricky for loving what you do and doing it so well.
