Waaaaay overpriced! I just needed a simple rooter fix to a clog, the technician was there for maybe 15 minutes, the company billed me $125. Ridiculous! Best of all, it clogged again the next day.
Several weeks ago I called them to fix a leaky faucet. The bill came to over $100, including one part. The part charged was twice the price than what it would have been in the store. A little washer and seat were also replaced in the repair.
When the faucet started leaking even worse a few weeks later, I called them, because "parts & labor" were guaranteed for 90 days. A faulty washer was blamed for the problem, the one they had used in the initial repair.
I've never used this company, and I would never consider it after I experienced the way the idiot who drives their van drives.
I had used them for many years, but this is a definite way to get rid of a loyal customer. Time to find a new plumber with more integrity.
At no time was there a discussion of this being a billable event as it was to be covered under warranty. If it was not to be covered under warranty due to a freeze that cracked the plastic seal they should have let us know up front. We could have made the decision on have them fix it or me fix it for a FRACTION of the cost. This was never given and a bill sent out. They and the builder should have let me know it would cost them to fix it and not covered under warranty.
Charged me over $300.00 for a simple toilet flush part/labor. Took about 45 minutes to put it on. Did not know this until it broke down 2 days later. I called them back and they tried to charge me again for something else they said was broke. I told them to get out of my house. Called another pluming company and they said that they over charged. Said the part only cost 20.00. For a total of 75.00 for the service call. Ladies they are con artist. don't be be there by yourself. ensure your husband or some one else is there with you.
Imagine my surprise, when I received a bill from them stating that the labor was free, because it was a recall on a repair, but then they turned around and charged me for the parts. The same parts they had used in the first repair and had declared defective. So what happened to "parts & labor"?
Horrible service! I called in a home warranty repair for a leaky outdoor faucet. They came out and said they would take care of it which they did. One week later I get a bill for $271.00!??
Update: Now, just a few weeks after I wrote this review, it is already leaking again. Alsop plumbing was a waste of my very hard earned money.
