The braiding quality is good but for the prices they charge I certainly expect a better professional experience overall.

I've gotten my hair braided here several times I must say the owner Kodou braids great however she puts you off on other people and the job is not done as well. I got my hair done last Saturday & it looks like its been up for a month already. Very NOT satisfied &that was my last visit.....money($180) wasted!!!!
Kudo is very unprofessional. My daughter went to have braids that were done at the shop taken down. Her hair was to her bra strap. After they took her hair down it was at nape of her neck. Asked for money back and told no refunds. Explained what happened they tried to deny that it was a result of them taking her hair down. Only compensation offered was to braid hair for $20 off the service price. No I don't think so.
I went to this shop in February to get microbraids. I was charged $160 and was told that was with a discount. There was no treatment of my hair whatsoever. They-THREE different people, started parting and braiding. The one female that did most of the work had to be constantly consulted. I didn't understand their language but everytime one of the others came to her, she would start over. This led me to believe she didnt know what she was doing so I asked the owner and person I actually made the appointment with. I was told the person was not new and that she was just 'starting the process'. This person stopped and a second person started. At one point, there were 3 different people working on my hair at the same time. You might think this is efficient but it just means my braids were 3 different sizes but equally unacceptable. My hair was done on a Thursday, by Saturday the braids were coming out. By Sunday night, I had to put my hair in a ponytail; that's how many had come out. I was so frustrated I just figured I'd take the rest out and move on. Well one side of my hair was done is this weird knot-suffice to say, the braids had to be cut out. I went in their with hair touching my shoulders and in the end, my hair ended up being less than 2 inches long in some places. It's now May and my hair has grown a little over 2 inches but you can believe I wont lose it again by going to this place again. IF YOU WANT TO KEEP YOUR HAIR, AVOID THIS PLACE.
