Don't bother! I have been going to Regis Salons for YEARS and have always loved them. This was my first time to visit this particular Regis since we moved here and I will NEVER go back again. I washed my hair beforehand and only needed a simple trim. They didn't style it or put any products in my hair, just the trim. They charged me $60!!!! $60 not including tax, tip, etc. The receipt said $42 for shampoo and cut and $17 for shampoo and style. The stylist was nice enough, but I just thought that she charged me incorrectly and made a simple mistake so I called and spoke with the manager. The manager said those were the prices that are set by corporate and that's just the way it is and would not be reimbursing for a difference I thought I was owed. I relayed that I have been going to Regis for years and have never paid that much before and she was unapologetic and incredibly rude to me. I researched them a bit and noticed similar stories to mine that suggest they price higher on low days to make up the difference. What a terrible business ethic, encouraged by management.
What pissed me off was the woman who did my 16 year old daughter's hair. Now don't get me wrong, she did an amazing job with her hair, however, she upcharged her. She got her first job and first check and wanted to get her hair done, this woman, after being rather rude to me, told her she washes hair after the cut. She should have charged her $45.50 but instead she up charged her, a kid! She charged her $35.50 for a misc cut and $20.50 for a shampoo and style. She should be ashamed of her self, if she wants to charge her own prices then she needs to rent a booth. That is just uncalled for in so many ways, again to upcharge a teenage girl is just messed up.
(Also called and was able to get an appointment the next hour! Barely waited 5min after I got there!)
Amazing! Ended up with better results than expected!! Schatana ( I believe i spelled it right ) did an amazing job and was able to give me a better relook than I thought with the small description I had! She even stayed after hours to finish it! Made this momma of twins super happy and a huge boost in confidence!!! Thank you again if you see this! As well as the staff were all so nice and friendly for sure going again!
Regis Salon in Killeen. A few things happened that I did not care for while there with my daughter on Sunday. I will try to not drag this on, starting with me. Never was I asked if I wanted a deep conditioner, she assumed I had the 20 mins that I didnt have and put me under the dryer, she also assumed I had the $10.50 extra to pay for it, which I do, however, that is not her decision to make. The cut, it was like bad sex, I had to fake it at the end just to get it over with. I kept telling her it was uneven, she would pretend to fix it and that dance went on until 3 inches turned into 6. It took her 2 hours just to cut my hair and I feel like she was nervous and thats ok, I can look past a bad cut and I got it semi repaired the next day by a more experienced stylist. Yes I am a little ticked but it was not worth it to crush a new stylists confidence. The part that bothered me about her was if she had an issue she should have admitted to it and asked for help as to not lose a client, she should also ask if someone wants a service that will be extra, its just common courtesy, especially since the part that needed the conditioner was cut off. She also took another client and spoke ill of her, she also let her sit for 2 hours 1 being with conditioner on her hair. It was sad that she felt it was ok to degrade this woman in front of another client.
Horrible experience and extremely expensive. I went for a partial sew in. I ended up with thick braids. I could not put my hair in a pony tail because the braids were so bulky. I made it clear from the beggining I needed to be able to put my hair up. I would not go here for a sew in. Horrible service.
I love this location. There is almost never a wait time. They work well around your schedule. I went there to get purple highlights. I didn't know how exactly I wanted it but they sure did help out. The color came out perfect and the hair cut was great! I always come here. I would not go anywhere else. Everyone's standards and experience is different. It was good in my eyes.
