Came in for a difficult color correction. Don't get me wrong the color is ok. Here is why it's only getting 1 star- first off I come in at 2:45 I don't leave till 7:10, the hairdresser I have takes 3 smoke breaks in that time coming in to touch my hair smelling like an ash tray and not even washing her hands first ( I'm 8 months pregnant) so it's a big deal with the smell and very unprofessional in my opinion. Second while shampooing me she not only is super rough but smells like cigarettes and has this bracelet that keeps hitting my face the whole time even when I tell her that she is doing this. She let water go down my face like a waterfall and throws a towel at me saying I can wipe my face... Then she goes to cut my hair ( freshly bleached hair with a razor) I have frizzy hair all where she razored- I asked for both sides to be evenly cut as I have one side that grows longer than the other- she cut my short side when before she cut I told her my long side that is now even longer then then it was from the other side to start with. Has to be the worst haircut I've ever gotten the back is terrible she used clippers and didn't even edge i like o had asked ( I asked for it to be square) so I have a huge duck butt looking thing back there now - she then proceeded to blow dry my hair down the middle- I personally never blow dry my hair and informed her of this while at the shampoo bowl. I finally was so mad I had to tell her to just stop and that I would go home and wet it down. I got up to go pay- she had informed me the color was going to be $115 while I was under the dryer when my hair color was processing- and that she wasn't charging me for my haircut. When I go to pay the lady at the desk( also the manager) asks me if I have cash.. I don't.... then I'm informed the salon will charge me for using a card. No sign saying this or anything!!!!! She charges me $127. I go out of the salon crying. When I finally gather myself together I call back and point out everything that upset me while I was there- asked why I got charged so much learned I got charged for my haircut I was told I wasn't being charged for not once but twice- Nancy the stylist had told me once again while I was getting up to pay that she was not charging me my haircut- so I get told I can come back and get my $10- I go back get my $10 ask for them to wet my hair down because they let me leave looking like I had a mushroom on my head... Was informed that I would have to wait till the hairdresser there was done with her client(understandable) but then was questioned about if my hairdresser had really said she was not charging me my haircut. I'm so beyond disappointed with the service and customer service I received here- being in the hair industry before this really made me see what a poor business they are owning and I'm not only going to have to go pay another salon to fix what's been messed up but they didn't even apologize ... for what anyone would say was a terrible haircut. Any client of mine that felt this way would have got reimbursement of the service like a professional or a professional salon owner would have done Because it was not at all up to standard of what a professional salon should be. I not only was not pleased with the service I received but looked so bad I couldn't go do the grocery store shopping I had planned to do after because they let me leave looking terrible.
A friend of mine told me about this place. Lisa has been doing my hair for the past few months and she gets me. I tell her what I'm looking for and she does her magic. I won't go anywhere else.
I never get to the hair salon and I splurged and went and saw Wendy. She did my hair color perfect. I will always go to this salon cuz I know they actually care.
