One of the smaller H-E-B's, this location doesn't seem to have the amenities that most H-E-B's have. i went in looking for a deli section, and it's lacking. There seems to be no pharmacy either, unless I breezed by it and missed it. On the plus side, the meat looked great, and the produce was top notch. This is a good location for downtown Killeen, but it might at some point need an upgrade. I call this store, "The Little H-E-B That Could"...
My first H.E.B since childhood. Small, with a decent selection. Good for quick meals and other items. I personally go to the big ones if I need a lot of groceries and different odds and ends! But love the staff
I am so glad to be back in the area of Texas that you can shop at HEB. I have had to subject myself to shopping at other grocery stores and have not found the variety of products that HEB offers their customers. They also have some of the best items that are created for HEB and their generic products (Hill county fair brands) are decent quality for the price difference. I missed you HEB. I am glad to be home and close enough to nearest store to be able to walk if necessary.
If you thought your HEB was a ghetto store, then you haven't seen this place. Not only is it staffed with people that are just there for the paycheck, the employees talk about their personal business in front of customers to each other. I am so surprised that HEB is still allowing the store to be operational. Clearly this is the store that hires all the F UPS. I would suggest that you shop here if you want to be ghetto fabulous.
