What the hell?!
I ordered 2lbs of bistec suave.... I get home and I'm about to start cooking and the meat is ALL DISCOLORED & SMELLS HORRIBLE!
I like the food there but any of the food you take home to make is disgusting. I was so pissed that I bought this chorizo suelto and it had no flavor, absolutely waste of money, should have took my ass to HEB instead. I would not recommend any of their raw meat, but if you do please make sure to ask that the carnizero puts on new gloves each time he goes into a different meat, the cheese or chicharron, it seems he likes to cross- contaminate.
This is the worse please to do business with. You can't trust them. I place an order for an activity we had 1 month in advance when when I went to pick it up they did not ordered. When I talked with the manager all they can say was sorry. They do t give a dam about the customers. What I'm going to to do now when people start coming to our activity and we don't have food. I will never will do business with them again
BEWARE OF BUTCHERS OVER CHARGING YOU!! Bought chicken feet, I called for the price they said it was $1.34/lb and the sign also said the same thing. However, when I got home, I noticed the butcher charged me $1.99/lb! It's only several cents, but the fact that they would take advantage to their customers.. I thought I found a good supplier for my dog raw feeding diet, but because of what happened, I will never come back here.
I love this place. It has a great selection and wonderful meat counter.
On top of that the pieces were super thick!
I don't think I'll ever be back here again.
