I used to frequent this place often when I first got to Ft. Hood. The staff, the service, the quality of the food USED to be 5 star worthy. As time has passed, it seems like it just continually declines in all aspects. The sweet lady behind the counter is the ONLY reason I haven't given up on this location. She greets everyone in the same friendly manner and always asks how we're doing. She is truly an asset to the team there however one person can only do so much. I hope this location pulls around and gets better because I really love firehouse subs but will not continue to frequent this location if no improvements are made.
Always one of my favorite sandwich spots to go to! And I absolutely LOVE the drink machine! So many different drink concoctions can be made!
We ordered our sandwiches online, which was very convenient. 10 minutes later we picked them up, which is great timing. The problem was when we got our sandwiches and opened them to eat, the bread was so wet that as soon as you touched the actual sandwich it fell apart. Imagine taking a loaf of bread and dipping it in water. Doesn't sound to appeasing to me or my co-workers. They were also supposed to be hot sandwiches and they were very much cold. I had a great experience there a couple years ago but this time was simply pathetic. I paid $15 for a sandwich that I got to take two bites out of and throw the rest away. Never going to eat there again!!!!
I've been to this restaurant several times and every time the nightshift has given me excellent customer service I don't know their names but they're always the same people on the night shift and they are awesome the food is great I strongly recommend that you go to this restaurant even if you don't like sandwiches their food is awesome
