I purchased a house recently and the fence was put up by Killeen Fence Company. I'm not sure if the previous owner only paid half the original bid. But this company definitely did a half assed job. This fence construction is terrible to say the least. The cuts look as if they were done with a chain saw by a drunk. The previous fence was cut off at the post and the rest left in the ground and multiple boards have zero nails in them. Resulting in warped boards. I would be very disappointed if I left a job undone like this but I guess that wasn't the case for this company. The owners live out of state so they took the money and ran.
Was friendly when he came to do measurements and told us he would email an estimate. Never heard from him again.
This is my 4th try at getting a review posted, going all the way back to Oct, 2015. Regardless, getting a Bloodhound required some very special fencing combinations and Stephen reviewed them all with us, with great understanding. What we settled on was excellent, at a very fair price, and the design, workmanship, and materials were first class. What a great young man, from a military family himself, and he speaks plain text English to boot. Very serious about quality, with a great wit and sense of humor. I'll put it this way: My wife wanted to adopt him! I was OK with that, he loves shrimp & grits, so another mouth to feed wouldn't cost all that much. Pretty sure his wife had other plans for him, though. Bottom line: Great craft master, honest, great guy. You won't go wrong here. GATOR 6 SENDS.
Stephen gave me the lowest estimate I was able to find and still gave me a great fence. He was able to get the city out to place markers for power lines in a very timely manner, and was able to start work very quickly. Stephen even came out to take a second look before work started to look at the placement of a tree I had some concerns with. He did great work, was courteous and friendly, and I will be recommending his company to anyone I hear is looking for a new fence.
Stephen and his crew were professional throughout the whole process. They were respectful to us and our property. From the beginning, Stephen took time to explain everything in an understandable way. He explained the differences in wood and what is best for this area's weather, but left the decision to us. Very reasonable priced for the amount of fencing needed for our yard. The crew worked in a timely fashion and was able to complete the work ahead of schedule while ensuring the work was done properly. Awesome job guys.
