From the moment I stepped through the door to the day I picked up my husband's death certificates, the experience was professional and compassionate. They were prompt picking my husband at home, we had in home hospice, they handled him with the utmost care and when they brought him out, they me an opportunity say goodbye one more time. The cremation done within days, and Bobby my director never tried upsell me anything. As a matter of fact I explained we were nearly destitute because I had not been able to work for a year caring for my husband and although my husband was law enforcement, I was still given the military discount. He made smart suggestions like ordering extra death certificates which I hadn't even thought of, and he told me if I ever needed anything at all to reach out to him. I am so happy I chose Crawford Bowers to take care of my husband.
The funeral director was compassionate but very unfocused and seemed to not know what he was doing. We had no faith in his process and were left feeling like we were not in good hands. He talked more about the extra packages we could buy and felt it was more of a sales pitch. Shame on Crawford-Bowers.

My mother had very specific details that she wanted for my dads service and Dan made sure each one was met. Debbie checked on my family constanly to make sure we didnt need anything. We are forever grateful.
When our daughter passed, they gave us all of the guidance we needed to get the memorial service planned and the cremation complete.
2 years ago our son passed. It felt like dealing with a used car salesman. All about up sales. Didn't know there were others in Killeen. Had services elsewhere for many reasons. They do offer momentos of your lived one that are worth it.
They were great. Inexpensive and caring.
