Love love love this place for Breakfast. My Husband and I are Foodies and we love trying new spots. I'm a more liberal critic and find the best in all places. MY Husband on the other place is the toughest critic I have ever known and I would like to tell you Akira Scratch Elevated you have officially pulled him away from Cracker Barrel. This was the only place out of all the places we have been in the Fort Hood area, that he said is really really good. All the other places only half satisfy his expectations for what a breakfast should taste. Thank you Akira Scratch Elevated. I had enough of our usual, you have definitely won our business. The quality of your food is highly noticeable. Don't change that.
They aren't prepared to handle a big lunch rush. Even though it's a small menu they take a long time if there's a lot of customers. I waited for 40 minutes and was then told it would be another 45 before I was served. The staff seemed friendly enough, if you want to give this place a shot I'd recommend not going while the place is full.
Found out that Akira actually left yesterday taking all the recipes with him. That's right NO BULGOGI at all. The staff was very very nice but we were not able to eat our food because it took over an hour to get the food with an extremely limited menu. I wish them the best with the new management and hope they can pull it together, but it'll be a while before we try it out again.
Edit: I had originally given two stars, because I understand thing happen. But fortunately we got our food back to the office to find a chicken sandwich that was still raw, the burgers ordered incorrect. I wanted to love the food despite the management and menu issues but it was just an awful experience all around.
Sometimes they do run out of food, so call ahead if you make a special trip to eat there.
Get there @ 10am when they start serving mimosas. Last weekend, we drank them dry.
Breakfast options are really good. Very few vegetarian dishes.
Hands down one of the best breakfast I've had in a while. Staff was very polite. $3 mimosas
