Dining room was clean and condiments well stocked. Moist beef brisket was moist and filling. New potatoes were hot and Rudy's beans tasted great. Super easy on/ off from highway.
I called the store and informed them but was not able to drive back. I informed the rep I would return next weekend as I don't work or live in Killeen.
The next weekend, I returned with proof of purchase and a full container of cobbler. I was met by a rude manager who informed me he would not give me another order of cobbler as it was not company policy.
The food and service is usually perfect. In fact, in the past I allowed them to cater an event for me. One Saturday, I purchased an order of peach cobbler to go. Upon driving, twenty five miles to my home I then begin to eat the cobbler. It was disguising. It is usually so good.
I expect any business to guarantee their service which they did not.
Food was as ordered and friendly service.
These places used to be good. Now the brisket seems to be a little more commercial here. I miss the strong smoke flavor. Its still good though.
Great place to grab a beer and brisket. Their food is awesome ESPECIALLY the brisket... Moist of course. The ribs are great and the turkey is very good.
Great, relaxing place for Texas BBQ and a beer. Easy visibility and access from three highway. Fast and courteous service from the staff. There is ample handicap parking. All the tables are handicap accessible. The meats are warm. The potato salad is awesome. The vegetables on the bar are fresh. The beer is on ice.
