I had the "Cowboy Up" and it was steaming hot when it came to table. Almost too hot to eat. That's amazing, you won't typically get hot food like that anywhere else. I added Jalapenos because I like it spicy. It was pretty amazing. I also had onion rings, which were great, and a house salad. Love the food. The service was great too, very friendly servers. I didn't know I could self seat so I sat there for a minute at the door like a dummy.
I have been going to Hallmark's Restaurant for many years before Jerry passed away. I miss seeing him dearly. I mainly eat breakfast meals and sometimes a burger. The food is really good. I don't care about others opinions about Hallmark. At Hallmark I feel comfortable and I love the food. Also the services is very good.
I’ve lived in Killeen for about a year and a half and kept seeing this place but never went in. Finally my husband decides to take us and it was great! They offer quite a variety of food and breakfast is all day. I had chocolate chip pancakes and my husband had chicken tenders and chili. Everything was delicious. It was great diner food. If you’re wanting “healthy”, look elsewhere. This is down home comfort food.
Always a great place for food, day or night. Great service, excellent food!! The food here is all made from scratch. The buttermilk biscuits are the lightest, fluffiest I have ever set my teeth into. The gravy for the chicken fried steak is perfect, the chicken fried steak is awesome, and I love the fact that they serve breakfast 24/7!! Sometimes on the weekends there's a wait for a table, but it's worth the wait time.
I read an earlier review that mentioned "high energy, good food", must be talking about breakfast... We got no energy and what the waitress practically made us order...not real good. It is a decent am place....
