They need a complete overhaul and retraining. This department is the worst organized department I have ever seen. After speaking to the Veteran's Crisis Line, I had Officer Kennedy bang on my door with a baton. After he grabs my arm and tries to pull me outside with NO PANTS ON, he kicks in my door and JUMPS on me, holds me down while I'm screaming because I have no idea what I've done wrong and why I'm being put in handcuffs. After he finally gets off of me, the only answer I'm getting is that me being in handcuffs is for my safety. I have no weapon, nothing to harm anyone, and he knew I had no weapon upon arrival. Continuing on, he drags me out in front of my neighbors, STILL NO PANTS ON, and pulls out his flashlight to show everyone that has crowded what I look like. What type of unprofessional, HIPPA violation, violation of privacy mess is that? What type of training do you have to where you think that is OK? I tried to get in contact with a supervisor, and of course, weeks later no call back, no email back, nothing. This department needs an overhaul from the top down, because the supervisors care just as little as the officers do for the citizens. Trust in this city's department is completely gone. Obviously a call for help gets YOU put in handcuffs, rather than getting you the help you actually need.

Called Killeen PD from out of state out of concern for reported domestic disturbance by an 11 y/o and they never responded. My granddaughter needed assurance that her mom would be alright through the night and the police never showed up. I would give them a zero if the site would allow me to.

I got pulled over by officer Ellis. I'll admit I was in the wrong and was honest about my speed and didn't try to argue with him. He was very polite and courteous. He even blocked traffic so I could get back on highway 190. Thank you officer Ellis you are a credit to the badge.

The people who answer the phone when you call to report a crime are very rude and sound impatient, like it isn't their job to answer and and file reports. People wonder why civilians take matters into thier own hands and this is this reason why. I've been calling for a couple of week now to report a stolen vehicle and they act like they barely want to give me information on how this can be done the legal way.

I was called a liar, I was yelled if I was illegal , my and my husband are getting harassed from on ex felon, the police told me , he is on American, nothing is and was done, I’ve been here almost 30.yrs.. been pretty much all over the United States , and here in Killeen are the worst police officers me and my husband had ever to deal with. The believe a felon more then people who worked hard and always have been respecting the law.
