I like the running track. It's nice that Killeen has added a dedicated Dog Park. There are always people using both.
This park is nice, but there really needs to be someone to enforce the Park rules. People bring their giant dogs into the small dog area and they pose a threat to the little puppies, especially if they have a high prey drive. A lot of people often bring dogs that aren't spayed or neutered. On the plus side, the park is somewhat upkept and it's spacious enough for a good amount of dogs.
An excellent, very well-maintained dog park. Spacious, and full of fun obstacles and agility fixtures, this is a regular stop for me and "the boys". One minor critique, but not enough to ding the 5-star rating--the small dog section front gate is cracked at the bottom, and dogs can get out into the main sallyport. it has been like that for several weeks. But otherwise, a top-level fun place to take dogs of all sizes.
the dog park is fabulous but the people that use it are foul mouthed, rude, and do not manage the behavior of their dogs. it"s a shame. very spacious, pleasant places to sit.
Guess they feel this is not important.
Its a great puppy park however Mom and or Dad don't know how to pick up their kids poop
